Family Counseling and Development Foundation Launches a Free Psychosocial Counseling Service on November18, 2014.
Family Counseling and Development Foundation has officially launched the Hotline for Psychological and Social Counseling on toll-free number 136 from any landline in all Republic governorates or any mobile from all mobile networks except for MTN, which will complete the link process at the end of this week.
The Executive Director of the Foundation Dr. Abdul Qudus Harmmal told Saba that the service aims to provide social and psychological counseling to citizens in all governorates free of charge, especially residents of remote areas away from service delivery centers.
He also pointed out that the most important consultations provided by the foundation focused on psychological and social problems due to social pressures, family, economic and public and daily life. The foundation’s team has the daily rotation of 12 hours from 8 AM to 8 PM every day except Fridays.
The Foundation is keen to provide this service to the confidentiality of the complete character of the caller to the extent that the doctor does not know the caller's number and his area and does not ask about his identity as all that concerns the foundation is to provide psychosocial counseling to citizens through the toll free phone and these who their cases require to meet with a doctor will be advised to go to the nearest specialized service center in the geographical area he is located.
