Ministry of Human Rights and Family Counseling and Development Foundation Consultation Meeting

A consultation meeting in 2 March, 2016 was held between Ministry of Human Rights and Family Counseling and Development Foundation

 

General Director General of Awareness and Information at the Ministry of Human Rights Rami Al-Youssafi met with the Executive Director of the Family Counseling and Development Foundation Abdul Qudous. In the meeting, Abdul Qadoush Hermel presented an explanation of the role of the foundation in psychological analysis, sessions and consultations provided to all members of society. He pointed out that there is a hotline that receives calls from all parts of the Republic.

 Rami al-Yusufi, General Director of Awareness and Media, thanked the efforts of the foundation, stressing that human rights include the right to live in psychological comfort, and to find those who listen to his psychological condition and solve them. He added that conflicts and wars negatively affect the psychological state of the individual especially women and children who need continuous, basic psychological care. Therefore, generations would not have to approach violence, extremism and revenge.

Several areas of cooperation were discussed and a partnership program was developed between the Ministry and the Foundation, which includes mainly the integration of psychological analysis into the Ministry's awareness programs and other fields.

The meeting was attended by Mohammed Amer, Head of the Clinics Department, and Rami Al Yousufi, Director of Awareness and Media, Ashwaq Bakreen, Director of Awareness Department, Samir Al-Aadi, Director of Civil Society Organizations, Warda Al Hakimi, Head of Information Section.
