The Public Administration for Awareness and Information held an awareness seminar aimed at the cadres and leaders of the ministry in the presence of the Family Counseling and Development Development Foundation where Mr. Rami al-Youssafi, Director General of Awareness and Information, spoke about the importance of holding this meeting and coordination for holding future sessions aimed at psychological volunteers from the Ministry and from outside to reach all concerned parties including prisons care homes to demonstrate the concept of psychological support as an aspect of human rights.
In the symposium, Prof. Saif Al-Din Al-Meiri, Head of the Psychiatry Department at Sana'a University (Consultant and Psychotherapist), gave a lecture on psychological stress and treatment methods and how the society supports the exposed psychological pressure and methods that help relieve the psychological pressure on the human being as an influence and influenced by. He also stressed the importance of psychosocial support at this stage in our country, as psychological stress was the result of war, conflicts and economic deterioration.
Mr. Abdul Qaddous Harmmal, General Secretary of the Psychiatrists Association and Executive Director of the Family Counseling and Development Foundation, spoke about the role played by the Foundation and what it seeks with the Ministry.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry will work on the preparation of joint programs with the Foundation and others organizations for the purpose of providing psychological support in exceptional and normal circumstances.
