'FCDF Trained 20 of Its Administrative Staff on 'Providing psychological Support to Survivors of the GBV

The Family Counseling and Development Foundation conducted a training session for a number of its administrative staff on the basis of providing psychosocial support services to survivors of gender-based violence, in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).

The training sessions are aimed at qualifying about 20 staff of the foundation in Sana'a and Aden governorates on the bases of providing psychosocial support services to survivors of gender-based violence.

The training started with the introduction of trainee administrative staff, and the Foundation and its project, which is planned to start in July 2018.

The trainees also discussed the implementation mechanism of the project plan “Reduce and mitigate the psychological effects of survivors of gender-based violence in Yemen", under the slogan " my safety our Future", that is to be implemented from May 2018 to December 2018.
