FCDF in collaboration with the Yamen Saed Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Work has conducted a medical camp for the treatment of psychological illnesses in Sa'da governorate.
The medical camp aims to diagnose psychological cases and provide medicines for 6 months, in two phases.
The two-day camp targeted more than 372 male and female cases.
Sa'da governor Mohammed Jaber Awad said during his visit to the camp that the importance of this camp lies in its contribution to reducing the suffering of cases, most of whom suffer from psychological disorders resulting from the war. He noted the efforts made to establish the camp, calling on the rest of the institutions and foundations to have positive impacts on this humanitarian aspect.
He wished to continue the efforts to establish a stable psychiatric clinic in the governorate for those suffering from psychological disorders on an ongoing basis.
The camp was also visited by a UNHCR mission and was briefed on the progress of the camp. The mission expressed their satisfaction with the diagnostic, medical and follow-up services provided for patients within the camp.
