Shoko Arkarki, the director of the humanitarian office of the united nation population fund (UNFPA) visited the family counseling and development foundation(FCDF) in Sanaa on Thursday
During the visit, Arkarki learned about the psychotherapy services offered by the foundation, as she heard a detailed explanation of the services at clinics and departments in FCDF.
In a statement to the site of (FCDF), Arkarki said that she chose Yemen as the first country to visit sense her appointment to her new position in a view of the suffering the country is going through.
The director of the humanitarian response office explained that during her visit to the FCDF, she saw people cases are smiling clearly, which indicated excellent output and the quality of the work and services at the foundation.
As she valued the UNFPA partners, such as the FCDF, that make a difference in the field.
Arkarki also expressed her happiness that UNFPA contributes the successes of its partners in the humanitarian field.
As she noted the need to continue with such pace and achievements, and emphasized that the cooperation with partners in Yemen will continue.
