EUROPEAN UNION DELEGATION VISITS FAMILY COUNSELING & DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION

On Friday, members of the humanitarian delegation of the European Union visited Family Counseling & Development Foundation in Sana'a.

During the visit, the delegation of the European Union - consisting of: (Mr. Carl Skaw, Head of the Department of Disputes and Humanitarian Affairs in the Sweden Foreign Ministry, Ms. Spidar Hadi, the Yemeni file official at the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Manuel Bessler, Director of the Humanitarian Aid Office at the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Mrs. Simone Truller, the Coordinator of the Yemen Program at the Swiss Agency For Development and Cooperation (SIDA) - for the integrated mental health services provided by the Foundation for Family Development and Counseling.

In turn, the EU delegation stressed out that the work carried out by FCDF is very important, especially at this difficult time Yemen is going through.

The EU delegation expressed its admiration for this wonderful work they support, as described.

They hope that such services provided by the FCDF will expand, as a large segment of people are in dire need of them.

At the conclusion of the visit, the EU delegation thanked the leadership of the foundation, describing its visit to the as a "wonderful experience".
